http://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/671210/Honestly this was one of the best demo's I've seen in a very long time and I wish more companies did them so you could truly get a feel for how a game will operate on your system. For me it ran great on desktop rig; actually it ran better than it did in their bench marking tool. I also got it to run perfectly on my laptop even though their posted specs state the CPU and GPU don't meet minimum in the laptop.
The demo has a very large playable open world area you can kind of just wander around in if you choose. They had a few decent trial quests that give
you a taste of how the game questing system functions and combat scenarios play out (think BDO meets FF, but more engaging) and a nice
sampling of the fishing game that is somewhat frustrating but entertaining. Honestly I'm now considering buying this game, even though some die-hard FF fans say it's not what FF is supposed to be, it's still more fun than a lot of MMOs out there these days, including BDO.

My older rig, like 2 previous actually ran FFXIV albeit carefully lol and at lower settings.
No i have not tried the FFXV because didn't like what i saw in the game design, yeah looks amazing ,some stuff just look appealing to play but the combat and the oddity when he attacks and seems to pull weapon off back every time looks really bad.
The self party idea imo only worked back in the day for turn based, not a fan with the persistent gameplay and running a team.
Bottom line,if i just wanted to take in the visuals, see the cool creatures ,great overall graphics,i would be in but the gameplay just like FFXIV is not good enough,i would end up quitting too soon.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
