How do you like rift prime so far? And what class/role do you main?

I am from the EU and at EU prime times I see alot of people. Doing rifts, quests, dungeons, battlegrounds.

Tried all the classes (needed to delete it after) and I really like the rogue!

Bard/tact support/aoe heal
Physician single target heal/shielding
And atm I am tanking with riftstalker, so much fun shadowstep tanking.
And saboteur dps!

    I would at least check it out if it wasn't for the required first month's sub.  I don't have much time to play as it is so paying for a full month and playing a couple hours (especially if it ends up not being for me) seems a bit silly.  

    That said if there was a short X level or X time preview I would definitely sub if I got into it.

    I was wondering are their other severs where you can play with a subscription only crowd? If so it is going to be hard to separate the popularity that is due to that and the popularity due to the Prime old gameplay set up.

    This will be just like the other games having done the same thing,busy looking for a month then very quickly fades away.This is just a cheap effort to create cash flow.
    These linear Wowesque game designs are just BAD,the game is not good enough.

    Improve the reason you have a MMO and a login screen.Improve the combat and especially improve the Rifts and invasions.Rifts are the main focus/title/selling point,make them look AAA and not just spawning some mobs with a circle around them.Invasions are far worse a very lazy implementation,just spawn a group of mobs that travel on the same leash with no reason other than to say ...there they are,go kill them.

    For the record,i never liked their  SOULS idea either,i thought that was done cheap as well.

    I remember Rift, my friend and I tried playing together.  Couldn't do it !

    You have to do all the quest in order and if someone was just ONE level higher you couldn't play together...... You had to match quest for quest exactly.

    Very very on rails.... other than playing solo, I liked everything else.

    I actually started playing Rift f2p instead of prime.  I tried making a warrior, but the animation feels terrible, so instead I made a pet user archer, and that's going pretty well.  Now I just need to figure out how to get crafting professions.
    I want to help design and develop a PvE-focused, solo-friendly, sandpark MMO which combines crafting, monster hunting, and story.  So PM me if you are starting one.

    Rift was my first real MMORPG.  I played Rift at launch.  Was between Rift and WoW: Cataclysm.  Dunno why, I stuck with Rift.  I left Rift when the F2P stuff started happening.  I joined Rift Prime and it feels just like when I started some years ago, it feels good :)
