Yeah baby! Really looking forward to this. It's my style of game and it's in the 40k universe. What's not to like?

Current player here. The game has a lot of bugs that need to be worked out. Like bosses whose health bars don't move a milimeter.

A friend bought me this game some months back as a gift. Looked very promising. However the gameplay was kinda slow and a bit clunky. The game also didn't display any sort of variety with its combat, enemy types, and locations.

I'm going to check it out again soon. Hopefully they've changed and added a lot more too it since the last time I played. I'm not that big on the warhammer series, but I am a fan of a few of their games.

The "current player" is not quite wrong but at same time we're playing alpha content and they are aggressively patching issues these last couple weeks and it looks like the pace of over all improvements are speeding up. Parts of the actual scenario story-line are in now so it's not quite as samey either..take commentary as a grain of salt from the pre-release community.

With this, Total War and Vermintide 2, it's nice to finally see, after god know's how many years, some decent games set in both settings finally being released.

This game is clunky, combat is slow, progression is awkward, and it is riddled with bugs. It will be no where near ready for a release.

Unfortunately 40k just keeps getting trash games like this and space hulk. Here's hoping for vermintide 3 to be set in space against tyrranids orcs and of course more chaos :)
