What Happened To: Wiki...?

Well, Webzen's web site says 1Q/2006 (Jan,Feb,Mar)-- it's now 2Q/2006 (Apr,May,Jun) -- and it's still not around; the web site gives no info at all. Yes, I know the web site says "Under development"...but they missed their release window and haven't given any info why.

no offense to webzen or anyone affiliated with them... but ive given up most hope with them. They're kind of like MMOCenter... they're making something, it will come out some time, until then were kind of in the dark ::::18::

If I had to take a shot in the dark, I'd guess that maybe Nintendo threw a wrench in the works. A few months ago, they were grumbling about how similiar Wiki looked to Zelda-Windwaker, and were considering taking legal action. Maybe they did ::::07::

Wiki section on webzens site doesnt give much info other than "1Q/2006 (Korea)" and "Under Development"

Nintendo warns Webzen from 24 feb 2005.

that is no joke at all, Wiki really resembles Zelda the Windwaker, on one of the screen btw, you can see a white haired character with it's hair bound together, that is exactly the same character as in Windwaker, an NPC in one of the villages. i wouldn't blame nintendo for sueing them if they have done so, sorry but the resemblence is TOO obvious ...

I have a tree, a tree that's in my garde, but my garden's too small for the tree, so the tree is in my house, that means i don't have a house .... who am i anyway?

yes, and NCSoft is going to sue every korean MMO that's come out in the last year for stealing Lineage II's art style... NOT! ::::15::

the diffirence between Nintendo and NCsoft is, if games use the 'L2 art style' they're making their own game with L2 textures, animations but they don't look exactly the same as in L2. What Wiki does is practically importing Windwaker characters to their game, and another diffirence with NCsoft and Nintendo, if they use windwaker characters directly as an import, that isn't stealing an art style, that is stealing the 'icon' of Nintendo, since Pikachu, Zelda an Mario are the major icons and representitives of Ninendo ...

Thats called "trademark" & is protected. But it doesnt protect against parody or "inspiration" but Wiki seems to have ripped the art straight from Windwaker without any changes of their own.
