Ideally, I'd be playing a Skaven...but that will have to wait till they become playable (and they had BETTER!). Second choice is a Gobo Fanatic. Yay mushroom induced frenzy!
I think I have to play the so-called good guys (I'm looking at making a Dwarf) because a good friend of mine told me that I'm only the diet coke of evil. I'm not evil enough to play an evil character so...
Evil all the way. Probably chaos, though it depends on what classes they get. I also like the evil of the dark elves. I have found that the good guys attract too many kiddies. Not mature and a pain to group with. Give me more mature hardcore players thank you very much!
I usually pick the good side. But I've learned from other RvR games that it pays to play on the evil side for strength in numbers. If you plan on doing any PVE and leveling up. "for me" playing the good side just equates me to cattle.
The problem with WAR is going to be that the tabletop audiance (and early audiance) is mature adults, not 12 year old kids (unlike WoW). Which means the problem WoW has on Alliance is the millions of 12yr old that play NE, im a 60 human war on Alliance not a day goes by that I dont want to throw one over a cliff.
Besides all the kids are gona go Orky if anything, how can you pass dem up? I mean kinghts are cool, but Nobz are da best.
Furthermore, in most fantasy storylines dark elves are as mean and evil as they get, murdereous traitors that they are. But in Warhammer evil incarnated exists in Chaos in all their divine ruthless badassness.
I do agree with whoever posted that the screen shots will turn people over to good eventually, I hope Mythic just keeps the chaos pics out...they'll look to pimp.
As for heads I think Empire should definatly get them, there's a dark and evil side the empire as well in the books. I know Mythic is going for the whole brighter look, but the Empire should definatly have the option for heads with the whole fanatic or priest of sigmar look. As for elves, though luck, you guys are the embodiement of purity, which is cool in its own right.
I'll prollly roll Chaos or Dark Elves, since my friends favor evil. But i might convert back to my own army: Empire, and hold up the underdogs.
For those fearing it won't be like the tabletop I think Mythic is going for its own balance of Old School Warhammer and some new look to grab a broader audiance as well as stand out on its own. Personelly it seems to me they'll do a good job by keeping a lot from the table top, but bring in a lot of new fresh air. I'm actually for the brighter look on things, before only the elves seemed to enjoy life.
i thikn im goin to a humanish race, so that either chaos or empire in this case. but if u read the books/stories the empire arent good at all really there just not nasty enought to be evil. the empire are what a well structured form of evil should be lol =]. as for head i think every1 should get heads as this would be a good thing on both sides.

I hate to say it, but going by past mmorpgs, alot of people end up playing the good
side over the bad side.
The majority pick the underdog that cruise the forums. The peeps that dont forum troll
end up going good/light side IMO.
