Money for new chars?

Ok guys im not 100% on this money for additional chars... anyone please care to explain?

i thought that when u buy guild wars expantion u can merge them together to have 6 character slots... but now there saying u gotta pay for them? please explain...

    Nothing has changed in reguards to Factions that I know of.  You will still be able to merge your accounts as prediscribed.  The 9.99 thing is for buying more "extra slots."

    Right. And I've heard that the max on slots is 10.

    And you can have 6 slots on GW and 6 slots on Factions (seperate). Or when merged 8 slots. Extra slots (if you want them) are $10 per 2 extra slots.

    For most people buying new slots wont be something they consider however those who want to play as all the professions will need to buy a few extra and thats it.

    i didnt know about the 10 slots cap ... i found this good for people that want to have a lot of chars , some people have lots of acounts , becose there was no possible way to get more the 6 slots .. now if the max is 10 ... some people might still go for more then one acount ...

    for me 8 slots is more then good.

    i wont be buying any extras.

    Dude, what? You're way off on that. It's 4 Slots for either Prophecies or Factions alone, 6 Slots if combined, and it's $9.99 USD for EACH additional slot. I don't know where you're getting your information, but you have a bad source.

    The cap I heard was 32.  But, it was just hearsay.  Reguardless of what the cap will be, if it becomes clear they can make more money be rising it, I'm sure they will.

     I've heard in a couple of threads and different sites that this feature will be available.You can by a characetr slot for about $10.00. I hear that this won't be available until summer though...but this will give a good chance so that you can have a slot for every profession and even a PvP slot.
