Dead Man's Country Takes You to the 1800s American Old West - MMORPG.com News
A new game popped up on the radar after it was announced yesterday. Called Dead Man's Country, the game is said to be "an open-world multiplayer action RPG set in the late 19th century of the American Old West". Some of the game's features include deep character customization, housing, crafting, zombies, farming, gathering, cooking, a siege system, hunting and taming and much more. "Face the untamed harshness of the wild in a landscape of vast forests, soaring mountains & desolate plains".

Who the hell doesn't claim to have that these days? I'm tired of hearing about it. Show it to us or GTFO.
I'm not sure if you are referring to how a character looks or how they function. For me, character customization//character development means only how the character functions. I che3cked their site and they are talking about looks. There is no mention of rpg systems so I assume it has none and this game is safe to ignore.

I agree. I'd also like to add in final wipes. I wish I could set the options of this or any site to only give me news of games that are releasing within a month, three months at most. And by release I mean the day I can play after they did their last character wipe.

It had my interest with "late 19th century of the American Old West" then seen the word Zombies and its now forever wiped from my memory.
To be fair to zombies, any supernatural addition would make me do the same thing. :P
I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.
Although I do think to this era something more supernatural to plague the land would be a bit fresher. Vampires? Demons? Angry Native spirits? Werewolves?
I am okay with a solid lore based reason for zombies....just hope its more than the usual someone gets sick, turns into a zombie and don't get bit or you will too.
I'm playing WWO and the thing that intriques me about DMC is the PVE against zombies. I don't want a static world in this setting where I need to pvp to do something. Let me have this setting and if I need to wade through the undead to have it, so be it!
