Ultima Online - Too dated?

MightyUncleanMightyUnclean Member EpicPosts: 3,531
Hey folks,

I tried Ultima Online two or three years ago and it just seemed so clunky and dated.  Maybe because it is.  What do you think, is it worth trying again with the free trial?  Or has its time simply passed?

Thanks!

If you didn't like the game a few years, I can't see how making it "free" is any reason to play it now.

The cost of a game never influences whether I will play it or not, but that's just me.

Thought maybe things had been updated in the last few years.

When it comes to me, I'm the exact opposite. I can't enjoy the free things. F2P games, giveaways, open beta, sex, etc.
