They should just call it what it is, sci-fi survival game. And can they really do all this with only 24k? Maybe the + is key.

I sort of thought the same way: They're very unclear what state it will be in as a result of the $24,000. However, it's in a playable state as shown in the streamer videos at the bottom of the KickStarter page.

Seems a trend for concepts to set a low amount then raise it later if they get past it.

Yeah the KS page is nice and detailed. I'm a fan of anything with mechs so I'm actually rooting for them.

Who still falls for this? Seriously. After watching that video it looks like a version of Star Forge. This game isn't an MMO. It's a carbon copy of sixty other games that are already released on steam and in varying degrees of finish. Osiris, Star Forge, Eden, Empyrion, Infinite Gravity, Grav, etc.

If this game ever sees the light of day it will probably be in Early Access hell for the next six years or end up canned long before that point.

So the servers are limited to how many people?

This is for advertising their product, and it seems it works. The 24k is useless for them at this stage, so they are doing some pretty good free advertising with the KS think.

Good call, but sad to that now KS's is also used for other reasons ..

I played RFO back in the day this seems similar.
Problem i have is too few factions,i am not into 2 faction or even 3 faction gaming.

The positive,a npc faction,i like that idea but i still need more ,like maybe 3-4 npc factions.
TOO big of a zone/map can be a problem so i assume similar to Planetside and warping in which is a bad idea for several reasons ,one of which portal camping.
If you simply have to move the terrain, then that is great but then it is too big.
Trying to put size in perspective,16 units typically 2 feet or so.5280 feet in a mile, sooooo

that is pretty big lol.Too lazy to do the math.1 mile around 84k units i think,so thinking a map like Deck 16 4k units wide that is more than 20 deck 16 maps lol in 1 mile.Your opponents will look like a spec of dust.
this would work if like i said more factions and they put in check points where content might happen, not strongholds as they just become fodder for whomever has biggest faction.I fear that in the end this is still just pvp and that is BAD,thios game could do soooo much if it had pve content instead of pvp and keeping pvp just as a sort of RFO idea vying for control of some area for a day or 2.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Shit, that's a lot of none-sense. Is great, but is to big. Is ok, but is not ..

    I am creating one :)

Post-Apocalyptic and SF settings, but for mobile that is :)

Here are some (very) early art-works :

    Sniper

    Vaktor Vehicle

    Vaktor Vehicle ( somehow , upgraded )

And I feel you. I always wanted to play a true SF MMO , but no luck so far !

Looks like someone has a 24k credit card debt that needs to be paid off.

They have made a lot of progress, but it seems to be lacking something. I know I'm sick of characters in that sci-fi armour that's pretty much the same in every sci-fi game on steam..

I've taken a few stabs at it in testing. Don't knock it till you've tried it. I would have to say, though, that it doesn't seem to be heading toward the truly innovative gameplay I'm looking for. Might as well play Entropia if you can resist the urge to buy stuff with real money to advance, or don't mind doing so. If you want mech vs mech battles, try MechWarrior Online (which also allows for a good deal of modifications). Want to design your own battle vehicles from the ground up? Try RoboCraft or (if you want to stick to more conventional vehicles) Crossover. Still, maybe they've got plans for some interesting developments; it's still early.
