God of War (PS4) Early Reviews are in...

People are saying its an instant classic. Could this be the 2018 version of Witcher 3? Maybe better? Everyone with early access is calling it iconic.. the game of the generation etc.. holy shit.

Skillup from YouTube says it's like a combo of "all the best parts of Uncharted, Last of Us, and Horizon Zero Dawn."

I for one am ultra excited... God of War series is one of the all-time great aRPGs and my favorite games on PS.

IGN gave it a 10 (Masterpiece)

    I think if you needed a reason to get a PS4 Pro and a 4k TV here it is.

    This, in a nutshell, is why the PS4 is outselling the Xbox Ones.  It's all about the exclusives!

    I'm an Xbox fanboy not going to lie mainly because I have had it since it debuted in the early 2000s.. call it brand loyalty or whatever but even I admit Sony is Killing Microsoft on the exclusives. Its the reason i got my pS4 pro last year.. to play Horizon Zero Dawn lol

    OP why are you sounding surprised? God of War has been consistently praised as being a fundamentally amazing game, why would the 4th installment be any different considering their history?

    Xbox has been my main console all 3 generations of its existence, but many of my personal GOTYs have been on PlayStations. This could be another one of those years because of God of War, although it could still be ripe for the taking with Red Dead 2 on X1X.

    To be fair, this entry is a big departure from the rest of the series.  Third-person over the shoulder alone is a huge change.

    Have you seen anything at all about God of War for PS4? Asking because you are asking me why I'm surprised.. dude Its a completely different game now.

    Update: God of War director Corey Balrog reacts to 10/10 reviews.

    Skillup got a chance to do a car interview with the director of the game.

    Got a ps pro last week. First I got uncharted from my sister after that gonna play last of us, god of war remastered etc  cant wait for this one when im done with them.

    No micro transactions? No day one dlc? No lootboxes?  Robust preorder that includes real extra content like comics, artwork, etc at a reasonable price? 

    Wtf is wrong with these devs! What happened to player choice!!

    Certainly looks like a good game and I'm always a fan of big beards!

    But, not buying a playstation just for it so will have to wait and hope it comes out on PC further down the line.
