Time to be a Furry Now that Ewoks Ready to Join the Fight - Star Wars: Battlefront II - MMORPG.com
Star Wars: Battlefront II News - Starting April 18th, Star Wars Battlefront II players will be able to take part in the next content addition called Night on Endor. Players will be able to take on the new content either as an "Ewok defending your homeland...or as a stormtrooper fighting to escape the ambush. The fight is for control of Endor during Ewok Hunt mode.

He was being facetious. Rose is the worst character in the history of Star Wars. Her entire purpose is to inject Hollywood political bias into the movie. Her entire character plot line can be completely removed from the movie and nothing is lost (and much is gained).
I disagree with Draemos & agree more with thunderc & SBFord regarding sentiments with the character of Rose Tico. I felt she was a bit of a throw-back to the original SW movie characters. I didn't mind her strong convictions though some of her scenes felt "forced", but I didn't find The Last Jedi to be a great movie. Regardless, I didn't purchase this revamped SWBF2 because of the gambling. It's too epidemic in mmos now with no to little accountability nor transparency. The vids I've seen of SWBF2 though look real good. I could see this Ewok Night On Endor being a welcomed smaller content addition. I'll probably down-the-road buy the game once there's some sort of compilation pack.
I know alot of Star Wars fans who despise EWOKS i always thought they were cute and they never quite irked me to Jar Jar Binks levels. Return of the Jedi was perfect start to finish IMO...Last Jedi not so much...

Also like it or not... But most of the time change comes about by beating people over the head a bit, so if that is what it takes to break the old mold with every one being played by chris pratt... My vote is.. Go for it.

Sometimes I think people looking too deep into anything in the entertainment business are just unhappy. Find stuff you like, enjoy it and quit being so darned serious. LOL! Believe me when I tell you that life really is too short to be mad all the time.

If that is something that is hard to believe for you... Sweet summer child i fear for what the world has to reveal to you.
And to be fair it does not matter if the character is not important to you.. Well beyond your own sphere... It has resonated with a lot of people, that in turn gives it justification and proves that it does in fact possess value to other.
But if that is a way to complex concept for you to grasp... Well... Peace be the journey.

There were a lot of things wrong with TLJ, and I enjoyed the movie... but you post as if Rose's character spearheaded the complaints.
And by that token i guess she is a easy scapegoat... Something to blame for what was simply not all that good of a movie.
Heck personally i think she is one of the few things that redeems the movie, that and ofc the fact that they finally had the guts to show Luke for what he is... A broken insecure kid that never got to find a home, and as such grew in to a bitter loner as the burden of being a messiah eroded him.
