/loc command

is there any other related commands to /loc

How do the coordinates work on a XY?

Im having a hard time finding an NPC and have resorted to  trying to find by coordinates but all i know how to do is run around and check my /loc every few feet

Is there a more efficient way?

loc gives you x (from west to east) y (from north to south) and z (who cares). Some UI have maps showing this coordinates (check daocmods.com). There is also /faceloc command (or something like that - check "slash commands" on camelotherald) which turns you towards desired point - useful finding places when you know coordinates.

/map will give you the map of the area.  Maps exist for almost every aspect of the game now

/faceloc will turn you straight towards where you are trying to face.  Just hope that mobs aren't in your way ;)

    Good answers :)

Z, by the way, is your vertical elevation/depression :)
