OK, I’ll bite, elder Jedi is a NGE term, how will they rollback to pub 9 but only spare elder Jedi from erasure? If this actually were to happen, wouldn’t they roll the game back to old saved data which would have everyone’s pub 9 character as it was at the time? (pub 9 aka. before the village was introduced)

He informed me that LucasArts did not find the New Gaming Enhancements acceptable; and they informed Sony Online Entertainment that if they went through with it, LucasArts would retract the franchise license.
Anyways, Bioware will take over Star Wars Galaxies on Monday, and will revert back to a pre-Combat Upgrade game build: pre-publish 9.
Anyone who is currently an Elder Jedi will still be a Jedi. Everyone else will have to make new characters. Jump to Lightspeed will be removed, and the Trials of Obi Wan and Rage of the Wookies expansions will be re added in two months.
I personally have four accounts, and all of them have an Elder Jedi. So it’s time to make myself feel superior by senselessly destroying lesser weaker players who have just created new characters that have traveled to Theed. I think that’s funny.
I think it's time to resurrect an old thing we did on the Eclipse forums and my website forums.
