I would say there are a few great ninja games. Tenchu is probably one of my favorite series, it was really fun to play back in the day and the later ones still hold up really well. The entire Ninja Gaiden series is a great choice if you are into just feeling like a super badass and doing crazy combos. If you are into Samurai, the Onimusha series is great but the tank controls and graphics really didn't age all that well (but it's still one of the few older series I wish would come back).
Modern games don't have as much of a Ninja focus (at least in non MMO's) but like other people say BDO has some of the best Ninjas in the MMORPG genre. People tend to consider Warframe a ninja game and it's pretty great too.
It's amazing how well Ninja Gaiden Black has aged. Recently saw it on AGDQ and was surprised to see how well the graphics hold up. Also the difficulty is/can be absolute bonkers. My favorite ninja game to date for sure.
And im not feelin the BDO , played to lvl 53 , fighting red and purple mobs the entire time .. never died once , There is no challenge there , spam-game with far to easy PVE ...
PvE is brainded. 1v1 open world / small scale open world PvP is pretty fun
Yeah all the PVE is just to get you into the end game PVP.
