Same here, only I loved it. Once you decide to make an enchanting potion and realise just how many processes you have to go through there is only one thing for it. Team Effort!
Luckily my character had an ingame family and even those who werent interested in crafting were happy to collect needed ingredients.
Systems like these really encourage you to depend on other crafters, and ofcourse create a great player economy.
It is going to be great. Also, there are going to be a TON of skills! Things like alchemy, farming, etc. So if you do not want to level, just go do something else !

IMO it looks great...if you want lame boring shallow crafting go play WoW.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
well, if you read the whole thing, its only over the top if you want it to be. You dont have to do all of the steps if people help or you buy stuff.
this is going to be great!!
I loved crafting in SWG since there was always a chance to get something sold even if it just was an Ingredient or part...
Hardcore AND Casual crafting sounds like a nice mix.
I would most likley go the Hardcore craft way to make everything...
It would give a little more Insight to the matter of crafting...
Always hated to simple crafting ways... Buy a sword blade and hilt and bash em together...
This new system reminds me a bit of DAoC and EQ 2 (before changes)
