World of Warcraft News - World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is currently in late-phase alpha testing and players recently had the opportunity to check out the expansion's first raid, Uldir. YouTuber "LeystTV" has a pair of new videos to showcase both male and female versions of the plate and mail armor sets that will drop for players. You'll get a peek at how they look on all races and both genders.

    I've started to wonder what WoW would do if they had a dye system....given that most armor just ends up being recolors.

    I've never understood how body paint provides defense, but I guess if I were wearing my car as shoulder armor...

    Other than that, it looks pretty good. Much better than the garbage they put out when I played years ago.

    so its only 4 sets? mail , leather , plate and cloth? they are cutting corners everywhere

    What are you talking about? It's always been those 4 armor types.

    What are you talking about? It's always been those 4 armor types.



    Think he's referring to each class having its own set down to each armor class having one. So now they will only bring out 4 sets per raid difficulty instead of 12.

    I must admit even though I wont miss juggling set bonuses I am going to miss the variety of sets, hopefully they will make up the numbers with things like dungeon sets and faction sets ect.

    While I one side I agree that they are slacking on another you have transmog system, so it's not all that bad. Honestly all my chars are with transmoged gear, so unless they release some really sick looking sets I doubt I'll use those appearances.
