Getting very annoyed with Lost connections bug

getting very tired of losing the connections and not able to stay long peroid of time, if i was hunting the creatures for xp, i was okay for 2-3 hours, but taking npc's quest is booting me out while i was looking for other npc to "Deliver the letters" to other npc.

i lost every time when i am looking for npc and i know if i lose connection if i was going wrong directions.  in game, there are several gamers in the town and no one respond to my questions. i was doing "5 Virtues" and last part of the quest is "Wit" and i am at New Vassarack and found assession assistant of Wit, and need that token but cant find "Sammy Specialpant's House" that where the master of Wit i am looking for.

i have the Bradygame Horizon stragety guide book but it is not helpful with beginner quest walkthru.

I am pulling fistful of hairs with losting connections while doing the NPC's quests.
