nice set.. i looked at it about a month or so ago... its a hybrid of arctis 7 and siberia 840 :D

Brian Fallon from steelseries claimed that these have the best premium drivers they had ever used in the set... i dont know about that. also wireless version is $330? i think. That is kind of high. on the other hand the version without the gamedec (if u are not using streaming music service or maybe u use the mixer like i do and has no use for the usb amp) would only run u about $180 which is not too bad.

I agree with Christopher, they are on the high end and why do they love usb so much is beyond me. Also the surround sound is not as good as I expected for the headset of this level.

Is this the Steelseries that was involved in the Bullyhunter debacle though?

Thanks! For what it's worth, I don't think the wireless version is will wind up as good. I mean, I'm sure it will sound better than your average wireless headset but at that price they're competing against straight up audiophile headphones, like the Audio-Technica DSR7s - some of the best sounding wireless headphones available right now.

They're nice headsets - my brother uses one.  I'm looking forward to trying out the Mobius headset though.  Audeze sound quality kills, and these things have pretty much every feature you could possibly ask for.

    Also pretty damn expensive though.

I believe they distanced themselves from that mess:

Not sure how creating a smokescreen for abusers and legitimizing bullying could be seen as a good idea. The whole thing fell flat because it was completely fake, not because the idea behind it was absurd.
