Interesting that they have an "aggressive" plan for updating APB. Wonder what's in store for Fallen Earth?

Hopefully something to get it attention.

That game was really fun for me back in the day, it was the "fallout" online I wanted. Not many post apocalyptic MMORPG's.

Fallen Earth was a spectacular derivative game. Had that whole "we're not holding your hand" vibe to it.

This is fantastic. APB has been a "throw away game" I've played with my gaming group for so many years. We play for a break from and between MMO's and we've been lamenting lately (as recently as night before last) that we were going to miss it when it was gone. It just got the "fun factor" right.

We had literally been searching for something similar to go play when it closes down! Very happy to see this.

It was extremely fun, I think the only aspect that wasn't fun was how rampant the hackers were. I am hoping this new company can at least add a decent anti cheat, as the customization in APB was insane and it was really fun to play.

Great news for Fallen Earth for sure! But I fear it is too little, too late. G1 have let this game wither and die and it would take a huge amount of work to just modernize it to today's standards. I will hold out hope though!

Fallen Earth, more like Fallen Game. That game needs a ton of work.

Oh, wow, really good and completely unexpected news. APB is the only PvP game I liked after vanilla WoW battlegrounds and seeing it going gently into that good night - it was a pain. It's time to re-install.

    Thank you for your time!

Oh wow. This is rather exciting news. Not going to get too hyped for it; but APB has been one of those games I enjoyed since the Realtime Worlds launch and seeing the game constantly go south in GamersFirst's hands has been a major disappointment over the years. I am genuinely excited to hopefully see more content, specially new maps for once; coming in the future. Here's to hoping for a better success story than what the game has been over the years.

They're going to do something about cheating in the game, that alone is enough for me to get back into it.

Fallen earth is in my Top 3 games. Probably most immersive game ever played. I hope they will resurrect it.

I see this as a terrible move, one that will cost them dearly.
So they have been dealing with contracts/licenses,one or two major ones end and leave them hung out to dry so they have to quickly regroup to generate revenue.

So they decide rather than go through time and time again, they decide to buy a couple games "badly failing" ones to try and do it their own way with nobody but gamer's to answer to.
The problem is that i very highly doubt they will recoup even the money it cost them to buy the two games.
They claim they learned a lot working with other developers and likely see some avenues for generating money but you still need a game that people want to play.
I can see some ideas for APB but for Fallen Earth,no way, likely some very lame cash shop ideas and catering to about 100-200 players tops.
APB is down to 500 concurrent tops so how the heck do they make any money?Well the way other devs/publishers are doing it,just jack the cost up enormously to gouge the few faithful so that revenue represents a much higher player base than the games will actually have.
Bottom line, they see $$ i see debt and a bad move.
