As gamers, we want the best peripherals. One bad accessory can spoil an entire game, but a full set of high-end peripherals can cost hundreds of dollars. Logitech is out to change that. Today, we’re looking at the G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse. It features their incredible HERO sensor, with excellent tracking and astounding 250 hour - 9 month battery life, compromise free wireless for only $59.99. What’s the catch?

That's a mindset from like 10 years ago. Absolutely nothing wrong with wireless mice these days.
You must be playing games that do not have a need for quick response and lag free input.
Try playing Quake or any fast paced respected FPS with a wireless mouse, any at that, and you will see for yourself.

Honestly you would have been right about 10 years ago. Wireless mice are at a low enough delay that it is not noticeable.
I have been playing Quake and a lot of Arena shooters exclusively on wireless mice for years now and have had 0 issues, and any time I lose it's due to skill not due to the response time on my mouse.
Thank you for your time!
This is just not true for high-end wireless peripherals these days. If you're buying mid-grade outside of this HERO sensor mouse, then yes, it probably is. Check out Rocket Jump Ninja's reviews on YouTube, for this mouse in particular, too. It's one of the best wireless mice you can buy and easily the best at this price point.
Depend, G700 has never given me any reason to switch to cable if not for charging, but I'm using mouse for MMOs only.
My G700 has never, ever seen the cable. In fact, I'm not sure where the cable is even at. I have 4 Eneloop rechargeable batteries always charged and ready to swap out whenever one dies. Although, I do not use my G700 hardly any more. It's just a secondary, backup mouse now.
I'm in the market for a new mouse and I'd like a G700s but they are hard to come by now. I might just go back to using my G602 though. It sucks you can't charge batteries while they are in the G602 but you only need to change the battery like every month or two. I have to charge my G700 almost every day, even in power saver mode.
And yes, I play Titanfall 2 with my wireless mouse and there are absolutely no issues. I'm either super skilled and can bypass the issues caused by wireless or the mouse is causing no issues.
