While I certainly hope that DnL turns out well for it's fan's and those that have stuck through the thick and thin of the developement drama, I could honestly care less.
Just my oppinion of course but any production/developement team that treats it's player/fan base so poorly so long before and up to the actual release it's just not worth my time even considering. Because of this, I find myself at odd's.
On one side I'd really like to see the game do a strong 180 and be a very positive experience for it's community, on the other hand I shamefully want the player base to ignore this game in hopes that future project leaders finally get the fact that if you treat your community poorly, it really comes back to bite you in the rear.
Try again, May 30th now May 15th is when SOG is closing.
*chuckles*
And no, I have no plans to play this POS. I may try a free trial if one comes out. But play it? Hell no, not unless the trial (if one comes out) is just absolutely stellar.

Not touching it, even if it is stellar with all the right sized letters!

Yawn.................what a surprise.......not. I propose all DnL fanboys to be made saints. No one else would have put up with all the shit Farlan/NPCube is dishing out..........
With a large number of games going vapourware, I think it's a shame particularly for the developers that a game makes the market but is not going to be recieved well, especially with the time taken to produce one nowadays. But that's what you get when you develop yet another template-run-of-the-mill level grind fest with no backbone.....if only they'd listened to us in the first place!
lol I remember not even a year ago ppl were preaching this game like it was the end all of all MMORPG's and was gonna drive WoW into the dirt with with features like parachutes and large masses of empty land.
I think this game got caught up in a snowball effect where ppl thought it was cool to be hyped about a bunch of useless game features that had absolutly no use in an MMORPG and the game developers where stupid enough to delay the game long enough for ppl to come to their senses.

Still remember the beta tests. It's funny to see what was said about the game, and seeing the beta's themselfs. Overhyped, developers like in MOST beta's dident talk to there own testers, a bad test area ( way to many french people taking over topics. Driving most internation testers away ), long updates with features set in stone. Ho well, replace DnL, with *generic mmorpg*, and you have almost all the mmorpgs out there.
Few exepthion being Wish & Irth Online ( but Irth made some of the same mistakes late in the development. Its strange, the more strapped for time or cash developers get, the more of there initial bright idea's get trown out of the window, and the less they take input from the testers, becouse it means there time developing xxx ( and not consulting the testers about it ), ment that they wasted there time when the testers dident like it. And then ofcourse, its set in stone sinds they are strapped for time. Seen it way to many times ).

I was actually hyped about this game loooong time ago. But after reading some negative feedbacks, I decided not to consider this as a potential game.
Fortunately I was right.
So no, I could care less if it's released today :P

That would have to be a big stellar, with a capital STE and an even bigger LLAR.

In America I have bad teeth. If I lived in England my teeth would be perfect.

No longer visiting MMORPG.com.
*Chuckles* DnL was exciting to read about oh...2 years ago.
As was said before...I'll try it with a trial, no way I'm paying to try it
