Anthem News - BioWare has put up news of news and provided a peek at the "key art" for Anthem. A new trailer will be unveiled later this week and the team provided a 6 second teaser to get folks prepped for the big day. Anthem will doubtless have a big presence at the E3 Showcase during E3 2018.

Cyberpunk 2077 on the other hand ... that's a futuristic game I'm eagerly awaiting to arrive.

"You think this "A" stands for France?" Captain America
Agreed. Can't wait!
Are you joking? I paid 90 Euro for the game + 2 expansions. What i got was 1 half made game and 2 small dlc's that only raised some caps and has 3h of new story content... not even worthy of remotely being called an expansion.
Destiny 2 has been the biggest let down and due too D2 i refuse to pre-order anything till this day,
Not to mention the weekly "we are sorry" posts from bungie.
What look at Cyberpunk 2077? Did I miss something or are you talking about the 5 years old mock-up scene trailer?
I personally like mecha, so I'm interested in Anthem just based on that.
Also, I don't think they are pouring more money into Anthem then on DAI and MEA (outside inflation). They were a dozen on the project for the first couple of years and they couldn't staff a ~200-250 devs team for it until mid-2017. I mean, they gutted SWTOR KOTET expac because they didn't have the people to work on 2 games in pre-prod (DA4/Anthem) while having MEA in full production and that was when they had the ~100 devs from BioWare Montréal. It's no wonder they put Mass Effect on ice and send back DA4 to pre-production, they don't have the staff.
Even the marketing is currently less than what DAI had 9 months before release.
I think many people have overblown expectations for Anthem, mostly fueled by "insiders" rumors...and of course when the game doesn't end up as this grand crazy thing they imagined they are going to backlash at BioWare for lying.
And you are complaining about the length of the DLC, but they aren't expansions. They never have been expansions in the seasons pass. If you played D1 you would know what you get from DLC. It's the same exact situation. DLC's give 3 to 4 hours of story and maybe a strike or two, a pvp map, and a raid. Expansions to bungie are the 40 dollar content updates that have way more than a DLC and seem to revamp the game systems as well.
That's what happens when you pre order in general. You don't know what you are going to get. It could be the greatest game series ever and you pre order the one stinker. It's just a gamble. That's why I try to wait until launch, unless there's some crazy offer.
These comments persisted for the rest of the week and into the Memorial Day Weekend, until Jungbluth issued a statement that is clearly a forced HR apology from the Bioware or EA hierarchy.
If you do not endorse this caliber of professionalism, then do not buy Anthem.
Character looks like a Prius? Must be a hybrid class then.
