Yeah, no. After ~2015 xp grind in Cryptic games feels like a visit to the dentist. Apparently Chinese acquisition didn't do any good.
Thank you for your time!
"Level Cap Increase": Increased from the max of 60 to now 65 with a perk for players as they level-up for every new level.
"Gamma Quadrant Sector Space Battlezone": Cryptic has been hyping this up to sound more dynamic than previous battlezones so let's hope so & not just same ol' same ol' fresh coat of paint.
"Deep Space Nine Revamp": If there's one spot with this expansion where Cryptic seems to have shined brightly it is with this revamp. Cryptic's team did really well capturing the authentic feel & look of the DS9 station.
"Swarm Queue": More of the same ol' same ol' queuing grinding for the latest marks & exp. with the latest bad guy.
"Gamma Task Force Reputation": Definitely more of the same ol' same ol' to grind for, however; this reputation grind fest is Gamma themed & slightly different if these Rep. items can be re-engineered. Most older Rep. items are just not really worth the grind anymore compared to other in game items for the cost value so this might be a gateway into retro re-engineering the older Rep. items in the future hopefully to add to restore a bit of their value.
Cryptic also tossed in a few quality of life improvements into STO with this expansion. There's a Gamma Starter Pack & also a Gamma 'Mega' Pack for purchase which includes various items & services for the wallet warriors besides most of the items & services buyable from the Store. I suggest expecting some more downtime with patches throughout the week given Cryptic's history with expansions. There's a lot of voice talent from the DS9 series that worked with Cryptic for this expansion so that will be very enjoyable, but so far I've heard only 6-8 new episodes/missions.

Things people like DijonCyanide left out is that when you create a new jh character you basically get just about everything you need other than reputation sponsership which takes like 2 seconds to do on your main.
You also get max 1 half of command specialization and 1 other complete specialization for free! That's alot of grinding taken out of the equation for this game you have to admit! Since I went with engineer it gave me miracle worker full spec! I'm happy with what they did! I was also surprised at being level 60 right away!
People who are complaining are stupid, the amount of content is limited because of the changes they made to allow you to play Jem'hadar captains, the new skills unique to jh, and all of the cosmetics!
They made several great decisions with the money they had in this DLC and I think they were correct decisions personally.

[Jem'Hadar Armor Mk XII]

Mixed Tactical Kit
[Profession-specific Kit Mk XII [KPerf] [PSG] [WpnDmg]]
Food Ketrecel White (20×)
[Medium Hypo] (20×)
[Medium Power Cell] (20×)
[Medium Shield Charge] (20×)
Reputations at Tier V:
Task Force Omega
Nukara Strikeforce
Iconian Resistance
Each of the JH skills are a bit different such as Chroniton Mine Barrier are the classic spherical mine field that floats in the air. The Beam Turret is polaron. They receive a Seeker Drone which is designed like those the JH use and which fires Polaron beams. I can only imagine how they've personalized the other two specs.
