That makes no sense. This is basically a game mode for PVP testing. That’s what “Proving Grounds” is. It’s just one mode of a bigger MMO. So you’re writing off a whole game because you don’t like one part of it? Just honestly curious to know your frame of mind.

It looks kind of neat. Although looking around the website, under the founders section it mentions Citizenship. Citizenship is a monthly sub, if you don't pay you are just a visitor. While that isn't necessarily a bad thing, because you can apparently buy it from other players for in game money, but this sentence kinda stuck out

"Citizenship allows in-game wealth and prestige to dictate how you can customize your character and earn items for the open world"

I wouldn't mind just the customization portion, but what does it mean earn items for the open world? Like items you wouldn't be able to earn if you weren't a citizen?

Hopefully they don't ruin this with a weird pay model, or pay to win.

Hope springs eternal, current evidence be damned! :)

F2P and P2P together in the same player base ALWAYS has warts - usually many, many warts.

You'd think players of optional sub games would have figured that out by now.

Unfortunately, a lot of things sound good on paper. I'll wait until it becomes fully executed until the "hype" begins.

Personally, I’d rather play an MMO with a sub required, or at least able to be purchased with in game currency through playing like EVE and WoW, than one with another type of model.

It's not clear if it's first (bad) or third (good) person view game?

    Thank you for your time!

Oh look! Yet another large scale PvP gank feast!... I will be SO glad when the current BR phase passes, but it could be worse, it could be yet another of last years survival craze games

Ok, not trying to be obtuse but what is the larger MMO? The only thing I've been able to find concerns BR. And their road-map has release at the end of this year. The only difference I've found between their 'Proving Ground' and the game is you wander around on a bigger map to kill people randomly for basically cosmetics or better weapons to grief people with.

I'm genuinely curious, what is the point of this game. There are plenty of FPS's out there, plenty of BR's, and plenty of full open world PvP's (which I still look sideways at since they mention on almost every web-page that the city is a social hub aka lobby). Is it a bigger CoD? a cleaner better Heroes and Generals?

This sounds quite a bit too far fetched to give a game NOT out yet this much praise.
Then why would i care about HOW MANY,if i am looking for great systems and an overall quality game, the numbers don't mean squat to me.
I can't stand the BR theme and the weapons/firearms is same old boring.
So i watched the video,it shows nothing but BR,i go to the website and there is says nothing and we really hear about is the BR.
Bottom line,WAY too early to give this game any notoriety other than a BR until we SEE more.If there really is a lot more we would hear about it on their site but we don't.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

I cannot wait for this game. I already bought the founder pack. This will be a totally new game experience that is optimized for large scale MMO Shooters and the BR addition of the game. Not like the current BR games that run on crappy engines. OFc we will have clueless Kids talking Trash like "ohh another BR game", but in fact this game is way more than just a BR game.
