Before this thread ultimate devolves, I just want to know if anybody actually believes Neowiz is reducing the Emissary program to "Ensure Close & Secure Communication".

To be honest, Neowiz had like ZERO communication with the current EME people. Why should this make anything different this time around? Game already is going downhill fast and Neowiz is slacking with the Fixes and content updates more and more.

I believe it could be accurate to say Neowiz is reducing the size of the emissary program. But I think the root cause might be more along the lines of "fewer emissaries left around to even play the game" than to promote close/secure communication.

    This!

Doubt that there is any other reason. Streamers are simply seeing that they are getting less viewers playing Bless than whatever they did before.

According to steam charts, around 5k on atm as of 6 pm pst. At least their PR team is trying to care about the game by saying "they are reducing" people instead of admitting that people are just leaving the game lol. Honestly, some of those emissaries that provided proof that they were actually giving proper feedback (like Ser Medievil) just got responses that looked automated. Good luck to the Bless team though, maybe it'll turn around.

Fancy way to say our game sucks so the Emissarys quit our game.

Neowiz boss: Launch didn't go well and we are steadily losing emissaries. This doesn't help our image at all.

Neowiz PR: The games written and video reviews have also been negative since launch.

Neowiz boss: Well, this is right up you're alley. How can we spin this so that we still look favorable?

Neowiz PR: Hmmm, let me think about this.... I GOT IT!!!

Neowiz to the public: we're going to decrease the amount of emissaries we have to ensure close and secure communications with the development team.

Thats always happen with Streamer and Viewers. Find a base viewers then they would leave if your not streaming there game.

The endgame sounds 'amazing.' So apparently the endgame dungeons have a low drop rate (kind of to be expected) with a one item per boss table (also kind of to expected). Sounds management in a game like this until you find out a couple of things. One of the dungeons is either purposely incomplete or 'accidently' incomplete to make it so you can access the final boss of the dungeon to even have a chance at completing your full set even if you have luck on your side. One top of that, these dungeons with their rng also have a chance to drop assassin gear, which wont be in the game until months down the line....Drink that in for a moment. You're grinding for a week or so with rng like this and you see pieces of gear from content that has rng like this (key to mention this multiple times) and you see a piece of gear drop that no one in the entire game can use for months.

Ah lol every time I see a thread about Bless I can only think of the phrase, "Bless your heart" ........ in a sassy or snarky tone. :D

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

The Emissary program was a very badly thought out and executed marketing strategy. Obviously they wanted to take advantage of "free" publicity/promotion via streamers, but I suspect there may have also been some altruistic (and foolish) sentiment mixed in about getting gamers/the community involved in the crafting of the final game.

I say "foolish" because obviously some of these streamers/emissaries really don't give a fuck about anything except subs/views to their channel. They used their "emissary" status to surf the initial wave of interest in the game and then jumped on the negativity train when the opportunity presented itself to suck as much blood as they could out of the arrangement.

Keeping in mind emmisaries can only jump on a train the devs chose to provide, this title is more of a "short bus" experience I think.

    ;)

Yes, I know, I'm going to have to answer to my maker one day for remarks like that.
