Thank you OP for your review you just saved me $60. I love games like this but not this hard. I play to have fun not to get frustrated. I love Skyrim, I have a blast playing it and I have already logged in less than a month over 200 hours of play. I like the way TW3 looks but I am not a masoquist who enjoys getting kill every 3 steps.
@mayito7777 ; It really isn't that difficult . I know everyones mileage differs, but this game isn't even in the same sport as Dark Souls. Once you get a hand with the combat in W3, its pretty easy. I also recommend playing with a control as it makes it a lot easier to parry and dodge imo.
I also rarely use the potions and grenades. I use oils for Witcher contracts, but they aren't necessary to complete. Just makes them easier. This is the first time I've seen anyone say this game is too difficult (even in the easiest settings). I don't doubt the OP having personal issues, but he is not even close to the average person who played this game. I definitely wouldn't make my decision on buying this legendary game off of his experience.
That's funny. I couldn't get into TW3 because the combat was so ridiculously easy. I did have issues with combat at the beginning of ELEX, but it got much easier as you gained power. You guys should try playing a game that has actual difficult combat, like AoD, and to a lesser extent, the first Blackguards.
