Never been a fan of reshades personally. The contrast kind of strains the eyes over time and the colours always look too colourful, if you get what I mean.. they are unrealistically colourful.
Looks good for those that are into this kind of thing though.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
The two combined make Witcher 3 a lot better and a "bit" (not entirely) more like how it looked in the E3 previews.
However its really intensive, especially his reshade...so...need a highend computer. Mine is surprisingly both bad and good (an i5 660 3.3GHz CPU, but a GTX 970 4gb GPU)...and witcher 3 runs really good on my machine despite a craptastic CPU lol. I guess its more GPU intensive and optimized really well

As a recovering photographic digital dramaholic I can attest to how hard it is and how long it takes to develop the restraint necessary to not jack up contrast, saturation and other effects on everything.
But if you stick with it and you're lucky, eventually you may develop an appreciation for subtlety.
