Look at that , this is how should all the companies who make remakes or definitive editions for free if you already own the game.

Amazing game with ATROCIOUS inventory management and filtering. I spent soo many hours resetting my hotbar. Its really weird that such a slick game didnt get the inventory system streamlined through alphas and betas.

So they're taking a 93/100 RPG and improving it?

They did the same thing - free definitive edition - with D:OS 1. These guys actually give a shit about improving their games at no extra charge... much respect.

That's probably the only knock I have against the game, the massive amount of items that are useful enough to have around. It's turn-based, so it's not that bad, but I eventually get to the point of cycling through 3 full hotbars to find the bomb/scroll/whatever I wanna use. :D EDIT- I got super excited to jump back in, and didn't realize the Definitive Edition won't go live til August. That's what I get for skimming articles. :(

Agreed. I can put Larian next to CDPR as companies that deserve my respect and my money. They've been doing this stuff for a while, not just with Original Sin.

This does rather demonstrate the difference between a small gaming company and the large ones. The small ones are concerned about the quality of their games, from that success follows. The large ones are concerned about the quality of their revenue strategies (such as loot boxes), from that money follows.
