This game looks like it will be fun as hell!
Most mmos these days are merely a frankenstein's monster of features. Come play ___; we have a this, a that, and a whatnot. Batteries not included. Fun not included either. They may as well be advertising a friggin washer and dryer. This model has front loading, energy efficient, LED panel, ... /yawn.
I honestly don't know what various features Warhammer will have and I already don't care. Just looking at this game makes me want to dive right in and see/do it all, whatever it is. Finally a game company found a Dev team that gets it - if you make a fun game, you won't have to hard sell a list of junk.
I'm looking to this game to put the fun back into mmorpgs.

Fun!!!?!?!
No you're pushing things too far
Currently Playing: GW2
Currently Following: Elder Scrolls Online
Games in my wake: Anarchy Online, Archlord (beta), Asherons Call, Asherons Call 2, City of Heroes, Dark Age of Camelot (SI to Catacombs), DDO, EVE Online, EverQuest II (beta), Guild Wars, Horizons, Lineage II,LORTO, Rift, RF Online (beta), RYL, Saga of Ryzon, Shadowbane, Star Wars Galaxies, Vanguard, WAR, WoW
Well if it's really like Warhammer and allow for truly massive attacks on cities and such ,battle system is quick(like GW) and there is enough content to satisfy the PvPers and the PvEers then I dont see why not. Oh and hopefully there will be no level grind or at least a much smaller one
As far as leveling goes in WHFRP upon which I think this game is based you don't level exactly...
You start out with a noob career, which has specific attribute bonus' and skills which you can pick up by spending your xp until you exhaust the bonus' and skills you can buy or you want to move on to the next carreer. 2nd teir carreers have skill and attribute pre-requisites which may require you to go through several 'Noob" carreers in order to buy the pre-requisite skills. And so on and so forth, in the pen and paper version you might progress from being a "bandit" to a "tomb robber" to an "assassin" or something like that ... for example...
Which I think we can all agree is a pain in the ass.

They've said that the game mechanics are not based on either the tabletop or PPRPG game, and what they've released about them doesn't look at all like the PPRPG version. They're taking the background info from WHFB, but no mechanics at all. Which I think is good, trying to mutilate some existing rules to another genre tends to produce bad results.
Also, I can't say this enough either:
