2+ Million star citizens...there is a sucker born every minute. Honestly, all the metrics you bring up don't do a thing to solidify your argument or point of view. About the only thing that is going to end this is IF SC launches, at some point, with all the features promised.

How in the world can a game have so many employees and not be ready after 6 years? I have played games made by a single dev that only took a few months to make.
SC citizen is a Non Game. Its a category of games that sells expectations, not games, probably the game will never be released, it will always be in development, and the backers expect exactly that, even without knowing it. All the fun will be gone when the game releases. Reality will never match our imaginations and our expectitations. I´ve seen a lot of hype games BEFORE realease just turn into hated ones just AFTER release. People want to dream with the perfect game, to release the game is to kill the dream, no more money in.
