Undecima - a New Online Browser Strategy Multiplayer Game

MKerogazovMKerogazov Member, AMA Guest UncommonPosts: 12

Hello, my name is Mik and I'm the creator of Undecima. – a new online browser multiplayer strategy game. After many years of intensive development and sleepless nights, I have finally finished my one-man project and it's up and running now, waiting for more players to come and start playing.

A bit about the game:

You start with a small village, develop it, train your troops, advanced through the levels, conquer a super-artifact, hold it for three days and claim yourself as a winner... The game is done in a simplistic but original style and as I see it, the main concept that sets this game apart from other similar games is its engaging and fair gameplay.

Some other interesting features of Undecima are:

 - Simple but efficient combat mode (e.g. you can scout, attack, defend, counter-attack, intercept, and dodge enemies and reinforce your allies).

- Lack of annoying macro-management. You have plenty of upgrades and researches to do, but can control only one town.

- All units from very basic to elite have a set of abilities and skills that makes them unique in the game and useful in particular situations.

- Ability to play either PvP or PvE or mix it at the same time; in theory, you can finish the game without attacking another player (not sure if it's going to be fun though).

- Plenty of rewards, such as weekly ranking, overall ranks, medals, achievements and more.

- You can play with your friend as Soul Mates and share the Victory – if you win, your Soul Mate wins as well and other way around.

- The game is constantly evolving – new features, updates and improvements happen all the time.

Another interesting thing about the game (but probably only for developers) – the whole game is written in C# (ASP.NET).

You can see the game trailer here.

You can see some screenshots here.

Will be happy to hear your opinions and

Remember - Undecima Wants You! (http://undecima.com)

The time is flying and soon there will be the first winner of the game and for this occasion, there is a new change - all Players who win Undecima (a round of the game) will get now personalised (and pretty cool) certificate that you can print out, frame, and hang on the wall, reminding you later about good old times. You can check it out in this thread on Undecima Forum: https://forum.undecima.com/FRM-ShowThread.aspx?thrid=1513

You can check the game here : https://undecima.com and by the way - winning the Game round does not affect other players, there are no global restarts or resets in Undecima.

I applaud your effort to create a game like this. It must feel good to accomplish something. Alas, I looked into the game but I do not have the time to play it. I usually only play 1 game at a time and therefore, I am a huge graphics nerd and as a one-person show you aren't able to have awesome graphics. I'm sure your strategy is thorough and robust and fun. It is just not for me in my limited time.

Keep up the good work and job well done.

Maybe another time ;) Yes, it was either hiring an artist, which would be very expensive (and possibly looking like a million other games online), or settling for funny cartoonish graphics that may not be posh, but original, which I could do myself and I picked the second choice.

And thank you for your nice words ;)

P.S. The Certificate for winning the game though is done to a top notch in my opinion

Hi!  The game looks nice, good luck on the development. I think ou should think about porting it to mobile platforms. Its a typical mobile game in my opinion :)

Thank you - yes, totally agree, but I keep postponing with porting it :( In fact, I feel like creating a mobile app that will use the same data and credentials as a browser version, but would be playable on mobile devices.

    Now, some news ;)

A new quest is coming to Undecima - Most Wanted, where players will have limited time to find, capture, and deliver Villains, who will be hiding in different locations. There will be nice rewards and as quest will vary in difficulty, the harder it is, the large the bounty will be. But wait, there is more! Players and everybody else can take part in developing this quest and suggest names and descriptions for the Villains that have to be captured - the best and funniest will make it in the Game :) You can check it out in this thread on Undecima Forum and if you feel creative, you can suggest your names in this thread.

You can check the game here.

Great resource ! Playing online games has always been my interest from childhood. I consider browser as one of the most important computer application for it. Playing games on browser and surfing over the internet is really an very interesting thing. I`m a citrix vdi user and love to access my virtual PC through browser so that i get remote access to my windows apps and data. No doubt now i will try Undecima too !
