Wolfhunter is upon us, and I am excited about all that it brings to the game. Two new dungeons are available to run, Moonhunter Keep and March of Sacrifices. As always, these dungeons bring new gear for us to obtain. A new battleground is available to play as well, the past couple of weeks I have been really getting back into PvP and battlegrounds has expedited that addiction.

    I understand that haha

Who said this won't be perfect after all we know what is right
And the sounds of bodies clashing is enough to make them cry.
You know this cannot be perfect even when it is feeling right.
And the sound of bodies crashing echo through the night.

Personally, I don't really think the game needs a total combat/animation overhaul, BUT I would really like to see the basic light and heavy attacks get switched up a little bit. I use a 2H sword as one of my weapon sets, and it kinda sucks to spam light attack and just see my character slice it back and forth from left and right, over and over. Would be cool if there was more of a "flow" or "acrobatic" like feel to my attacks, maybe I spam 3 light attacks, and the first is a swing down, the 2nd is a swing up, and the 3rd is a slash across? Idk, maybe I'm just rambling, but that's really the only thing that bugs me about the combat animations. In terms of skills, I think they all look pretty cool.

For a lore/story player like me is fine but still ESO is way back when it's coming to combat.

Have to admit it's the best MMO on the market, along with FFXIV.

Be VERY careful what you wish for...You just might get it. Wanting Dev's to "overhaul" a class and its skills is REALLY tempting Fate. The current Dev's may be different, and or their Vision™ of the class may have changed. In far too many cases, their idea of "better" and mine are rather FAR a part.

I've just discovered SWG Legends and it's about all I can think of right now.

Very much enjoying the ride, tons of builds for me to choose from, but I don't stare at a dps meter for my gaming entertainment. Everybody has their play style...

That is exactly what it needs. I could probably count on one hand how many people play this game because the animations and combat are great....if anyone does at all. There are however, tons of people not playing the game because of that one turn-off. I am one of them. They need better character models, animations, and combat. The combat feels way too floaty and lacks any kind of "oomph" to it. The character models are plain, the armor looks painted on. The animations are horrible, the character doesn't even feel attached to the world. And while the world can be beautiful and is quite large and open, it somehow manages to feels claustrophobic at the same time...which probably couldn't be done if you tried lol. It is tough to even put into words.

if you are playing this game for the animations, you are playing the wrong game.  It does not need a redone combat!

I'm going to agree with this.

I use two swords and it's literally alternating punching movements. It a little visually stale.
