I think there are a lot of stranger games in Steam.

For example 1v1 PvP where one player plays a baby with aim to commit suicide, and another is dad with aim to prevent baby from committing suicide:

Simulator where you play a goat and are awarded points based on how much destruction you cause and style:
      https://store.steampowered.com/app/265930/Goat_Simulator/

Game where you have to destroy a giant girl's clothes by shooting at them while you dodge bullets:
      https://store.steampowered.com/app/639790/DEEP_SPACE_WAIFU/

Game where you play a human with aim to have romantic relationship with a pigeon:
     https://store.steampowered.com/app/310080/Hatoful_Boyfriend/
Hey, dont mock Goat Simulator,  its actually sold millions of copies across multiple platforms.

I don't understand the appeal, but thats how I feel about 90% of the games out there so who am I to judge?

I didn't mock it, I said it was strange. Strange isn't necessarily a bad quality for a game, as many strange games offer experience that is unique and refreshing.

Most of those games spams achievements so you "level up" you steam account. There is actually a market for 1dollar achievement spammers - And steam is trying to deal with it for a long time.
It's also the card aspect. As some games sell just because they have steam trading cards associated with them. I think it has to do with the developer getting a cut of whatever sells in the steam marketplace, and cards are sold by normal users and flipped around by bots over and over so the devs make okay money just off of that.

    It's scummy though.

Lol, so what was your overall rating for "the gay bomb" .. would you recommend it to your friends? Me personally, by the description it think I'll pass.

Turn it around and have straights killing gays, you'd have an uproar.  By that standard this game should be banned.  No double standards please.  Just like feminists want equal rights but don't want to pay half the dinner check.  Sickening.

Then again maybe that's why this game was made, to highlight the double standards the "mainstream" seems to put up with and encourage.

With that type of agenda in their game,it sounds like a Russian developer.
Still not even close to the dumbest game i have ever come across, was called something like "to Shower with your dad".Something that wacko is tough to forget.
Steam should be bombarded by the media critics for some of the games they allow to be viewed/sold.
Matter of fact, some of these titles would be breaking the law,so Steam obviously does ZERO monitoring ,go figure how these games make it into Steam in the first place.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

I'm quite happy to be completely ignorant of almost all of these games.   There are valid times to stick your fingers in your ears and shout "LALALALALA I"M NOT LISTENING!"

Looks like "no" and "purple" are neck to neck in my poll lol.
I had to vote no, since I thought purple meant I was part of the rainbow coalition

All the weirdest titles i've known are on the green light or are free to play. I remember it was much harder to push your game throuhg the steam evaluation process, but now if you're free to play your standard can be low..

That gives air to experiment for new devs. A few weirdos off what i've tried:
Off-peak, the static speaks my name, how do you do it?, the plan, only if   etc.

Everything greenlight related is weird, i don't know. I used to go there and vote for what i would like to see, more than half of the games looked experimental and weird. The ones with random plots you won't be able to remember the titles even. Other than that, never seen an AAA game being weird, everything is thought out in the making. Indies are weird
