Well, it's not every day that you see an MMO turn 10 years old. With Wizard101's Steam launch inching closer and closer, the spiral is only expected to get even bigger. To gain some insight on this amazing milestone (and see what's coming up in the game's future), I caught up with Senior Creative Designer of MMO Content, Leah Ruben, and Lead Wizard101 Creative Designer, Sam Johnson.

10th anniversary for a game that's been run into the ground, celebrated with some free decorations, a couple free packs, a pack release, a quest that gives a decoration, and only one game fix in the form of a Bad Juju nerf. Nice, KingsIsle.

I started playing wizard 101 in Nov.2012. My brother and his wife got me started. Since then I have enjoyed playing it. Spend quite a few hrs . I have loved the gifts that KI has given us wizards over the years. .Yes, it does get harder as you climb on up to each level. Just have to get the knowledge down on how to defeat the bosses.
I like to say KI has done awesome work for the updates that has just came live.. Like to see some more added quest added on Halloween coming. as well as Thanksgiving.. Christmas we all love the gifts . We hope for some more added things around Christmas.
Keep up the awesome work KI. I give this GE a 10 plus.it's Wonderful

If someone got muted for 10 years, and they were 14 years old at the time and are now almost 20 years old and in college, would you consider un-muting their account now that they are older and more mature?

This game has done a very good job with content since its inception. They have added many more worlds and its not an easy trek from start to finish, it takes an investment of time and patience. While the game is not for all mmo players, I appreciate the things they've done and continue to do for the community. There's lots of diversity and things to do in this game, and they are always doing something for the community. Not all games can say they do these things.

I must've played it wrong....Just about every quest I had after the first few days was blocked and wanted you to pay to go to those areas.....It seemed like a terrible f2p to me.

when are you going to do something to stop players from bugging everyone in the commons begging for gifts? Even after you tell them no they keep bothering you still asking over and over

I stopped playing this game because of it's constant bugs and people begging you to gift them, I reported them to KI and nothing was done not to mention I had to wait days to get a response about the bugs I reported and for them to fix them just so I could play.

Then we have KI charging money for a so called family game that the parents have to pay an arm and a leg for for their kids or selves to be able to get anywhere in the game (highway robbery), I know because I have spent hundreds if not in the thousands for this damn game. Kings Isle used to always give away free gifts but as anyone can see that has pretty much stopped. They should give something of great value to their loyal customers that would help them in the game. after all the things they give are only virtual reality and cost KI nothing at all. to sum things up, Kings Isle are actually nothing but thieves! as the years went by their ego's got bigger and so did their wallets and their greed. I won't buy another crown or membership until they realize what they have done and finally do something to rectify this problem.

wake up Kings Isle, you are where you are because of these customers and as a thank you token you should give those customers that have invested large sums of money to make you rich something in recognition for all their contributions over the years. That seems to be extremely fair, for instance all customers that have invested more than 400 dollars of the years should receive 1 largest crown package once every few years since most people can't afford to buy that package at one time so they end up buying smaller packages that's more in their budget which over time costs them more than your most expensive crown package. I personally have never been able to spend that much money on crowns at one time and always wished that I could and always ended up having to buy smaller packages over time and I have spent a fortune on Wizard 101, so much to as having fights with my wife over the game. I don't know how long I have left to be able to even play games since I have severe neuropathy and am going blind. Enough about that, all I ask is that KI go back to the way they used to run things and if they want their wallets to get bigger then you should take notice of the people who have put you where you are today and give them a thank you.

They market the game as f2p but in actuality it's free to try and you pay to unlock rest of the game's content via crowns or a subscription after like level 10, they have free to level 20 or something in world of Warcraft but it's still subscription based, why couldn't they just say that about this game? yes you can level up to whatever level you want to grind to but you can't get anywhere important without paying

My now 17 year old daughter introduced me to this game about a month after it first launched. We enjoyed being able to play the game together over the years. Later on my youngest daughter started playing and it was great that we could all play a game that we enjoyed. My oldest has lost interest now, but the younger and I still play from time to time.
Although we like Pirate101 much more.
Now if they would only turn a little attention to that game...
