Sometimes at PAX you have to leave the beaten path and walk away from the convention centers to get hands on a game with the developers and that’s just what I did for BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America’s first free-to-play MMORPG being released as an XBOX exclusive: Bless Unleashed.

He meant Bless online for PC failed on Korea, Japan, Russia and now is failing hard on EU/NA.
The Xbox version is based on the PC version, with upgraded unreal engine. ( Form Unreal 3 to Unreal 4 ).
Performance wise the game is a disaster on PC. Cutting edge rigs have a lot of issues handling it.
Game-play wise it's a grind fest infested by the most aggressive RNG system you ever encounter in a kmmo ( or any asian mmo ). And by aggressive I mean RNG with RNG within RNG )))
Seeing is f2p on console and seeing how terrible Neowinz is, in his relation with his PC customers, I can only assume they will try to bleed dry the console players.
Good luck, but remember this post when you will realize I was right. At least for consoles is f2p. For PC was b2p...

It's Bless, it's Neowiz, regardless of the plausible deniability you Kellyannes are trying slap into your talking points.
The only thing Bless has going for it THIS time, is that combat looked WAY better and consoles contains a segment of people who will not care how many times it failed on PC if they get it right for THEM. Well played. But the fact still remains...
IT'S BLESS. IT'S NEOWIZ.
As for PC players, "we" got rekt. Period.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The demo I played was good, but obviously verdict still out since that's really just a small sample class mechanics and combat. But this is a fully separate game developed from the ground up. It's not Bless Online. Using the same art/artstyles doesn't make it a ported game.
Bless Unleashed is it's own game, using the IP that the steam version uses, but it's based on Bless Online about the same amount World of Warcraft would be based on Warcraft 3. Same names, similar art style, and lore but different mechanics, quests, stories, etc.
Performance was shit, no doubt about it. I actually enjoyed the game mechanics wise but couldn't play because my desktop rig with a 1080Ti ran it worse than my laptop with a 1050ti in it... at the same resolution even.
As far as RNG goes, RNG systems are extremely popular in Eastern based MMOs. It's why they tend not to do so well in the West. We don't like grindy RNG crap, they do. It's one of the reasons I specifically asked who the game was being designed for (if you read the whole article) and it's being designed for western culture. They may completely miss what this means and put in RNG grindy systems but if it's truly being developed for a Western audience these mechanics will be left out or minimized. Bless Online having them shouldn't have been a surprise given it's a port of a game developed with Asian culture in mind.
Remember, consumers let free to play become what it has become. We didn't want to pay subscriptions for games so they found models that kept them alive and turned a profit. I won't blame companies for exploiting economics and I won't condemn a game before it's even hit beta on a cash shop we know virtually nothing about - outside of the fact that while sitting across a table from me they specifically, point blank states there will be no pay to win or pay for power items in the shop and we'll see models similar to ESO and GW2 that are heavy cosmetic with convenience items like exp and crafting boost potions.
