Late last week I was treated to a preview of the newest living story episode and the features coming along with it, including Sun’s Refuge and the new legendary weapon Xiuquatl. So, let’s take a deep dive into these aspects and get a taste of what’s waiting for you in this new update. Also, for the story stuff later in this article I have stayed away from revealing any major story spoilers for this episode, so as long as you are caught up on the current season you should be safe from spoilers.

When the only new feature is only just a weapon animation..

This episode hit right in the feels...no one's safe.
The new zone is freaking huge. Haven't fully explored it, but did have fun with the "Mesmer Joko" event.

I'll try the raid this weekend with the guild raid team and see how we do.

Really good story episode, good new map, haven't tried the rest of the content yet.

Living world isn't about features; that's what expansions are for. It can have features, but it's about content, and the episode has plenty of that for free.

Vorch, you are right: some of the story here; wow.
From what I've experienced thus far of it: This episode is wonderful. And just what was prescribed after perhaps a less than stellar previous one. Well done Anet.
