After his last article about trying out MMOs with kids, Red Thomas takes the advice of several members of the community to try introducing them to Boundless. The kids responded more positively this time, and Red takes a look at why.

    Nice timing! I was looking for a game to play with my 9 year-old daughter!

    We will give this a try this weekend.

    I'm with DMKano on this.  My 10 year old dropped all games except Fortnite.  We used to play other games and if he wasn't in sports I'd of changed that easily.  I just can't for the life of me remember a time when I played one game exclusively and ignored all others for months on end.  I'd always at least dabble in another genre multi times per month, even if it was just a few hours.

    Huh, my kid really liked this game before it was renamed (forgot the old name) might have to let her now it's still around (I thought they shut it down?)

    It has kids?...oh noes! :)

    I have been keeping an eye on this one myself, it seems to be shaping up into a unique builder/adventure game.

    There is hope! My 11 year-old told me last night that he is bored with Fortnite!

    *FINALY*

    Now he wants to play other games and asked me what I wanted to play with him.

    Also looking forward to Maple Story 2 to play with the kids.

    No!  Go not softly into the night!

    Don't tolerate your children playing mindlessly inferior games, take a stand.  They may cry and they may kick and scream, but stay the course.  When they're older with high paying jobs, they'll look at the drooling masses around them and be thankful they had a parent that said "no, you will not be just another pleb."

    Game hard, my friends.  =)

    Hey! I am 33 and i can't wait for MS2 XD Also my friend who is 31 in next month is gonna try MS2 XD I remember someone making age poll in MS2 forums and it tells that majority is 20-24 years old and followed by 25+ years old as second x)

    As a fresh 30. I'm also looking forward to MS2 :P I loved maplestory 1 lol

    Funny the comments seem to be more about Fortnite and Maplestory than Boundless.

    I'm not sure that being a fad among kids is a big recommendation for Fortnite. I remember Pogs. And Cabbage Patch Kids. And Beanie Babies.

    I beta tested the upcoming Maplestory. Didn't see what all the fuss was about. Nothing wrong with it, but didn't seem all that great, either.

    Definitely keeping an eye on Boundless.

    Red Thomas has made me realise what we need to stop the mindless blind titan that is Fortnite. We need to get social media convinced that its all about the children, then governments will rally round and pass a law with a kids name to ban games which make kids dumber. :)
