The name of the book I'm writing. But, not gonna post the name of the book since it isn't made yet. But the MMO be based off that. And it wouldn't be close to a themepark MMO.

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

It would be a fantasy sandbox world, built for exploration and discoveries.
Lots of ancient treasures of all types, artifacts of power, and the chance to release ancient forces into the world, both benign and malign.
The game world would be "realistic" to a fantasy setting to allow openness, and huge. With multiple layers of epic ancient eras and their lost knowledge, art, and relics.
True Sandbox.
True skill based, not a leveling system in disguise.
Deep systems for a wide array of play styles to bring to life a "world."
