I'v been in the market for a new set of speakers for the past year or so but i haven't really been able to find anything that justifys replacing my Bose bookshelf speakers which still sound great. TBH if it wasn't for a bad connector somewhere in the wiring that requires the random wiggle here and there to get them working i wouldn't even be in the market for a replacement.

Nope. These were loaners so were sent back. It's never about what do I get for free so I can write about it. It's about writing an honest article about what I'm reviewing. But we all have our opinions. *shrug*
The bass is adjustable.
The problem with adjustable sub woofers is you can never get the whole audio sounding right by just lowering the bass. Its hard to explain without hearing but when you just turn down the bass the speakers that provide the high's or treble are too high pitched and it just doesn't match right. When you buy a system that has its own sub woofer its meant to be played at a certain volume, which is usually loud.

Oh I agree. Its why I've stuck to mainly headsets over the years. Sound but also loud noises that could wake people late at night

Totally agree my friend. I use Audio engine speakers for my pc. You can find great prices on Ebay and other sites. Sound quality is really good. Make sure you use quality speaker cables, because it improves the sound immensely.
