hmm i played some of the beta-versions of the game which always seemed to be very far from release and then the game suddenly went online. my doctor has not yet given up hope that someday i will recover from that shock...
or maybe the game just wasn't made for me. Yes, that must be the solution, it MUST BE!
Keep repeating: FOM is a great game, FOM is a great game, FOM is a

They may not of been finished to the standards they had promised but my god where they past the "FoM finishedness"

Props to you, if you actually can compare games like WoW to FoM. And seriously, you don't have to proof anything, WoW has 6 million subscribers and FoM has maybe 1 thousand. Its prooven already, yet your statements were false.

You started comparing them so I continued. I am pretty sure WoW was more polished, had more content in etc at release than FoM did. So how is the statement false? You said yourself that WoW have 6 million customers and FoM has around 1000, I think that speaks for itself.
but you must remember WoW has been out for how long and is how popular? thats why it has 6 million subscribers. FoM is a new game, yes has some things needing tweaking, but you cannot compair the 2 fames together. Fantisy and Sci-Fi have nothing in common and thereby compairing the two would be pointless.
Blame the poster who went off with "NAME ME THREE BIG MMOS~!" And anyway WOW at release was finished. They had stability issues because 2M+ people were hammering the servers, but its still the most bug-free mmo I've ever played. I don't play WOW anymore but hats of to Blizz for actually finishing their product unlike most other devs out there.
I don''t really know when Humankind will die out but i''m guessing about 6 years before WOW. -BarCrow

What the hell? The game client is free to download, the game only costs 10Euros a month to play. The game has been in development for around 3-4 years, and so in my mind P2P was implemented as they were running out of money.
However that said, the game's main attraction is the community. As the game tries to mirror real life, and politics, the game community will be more important than the items avaliable. The game's community during Open Beta was wide and varied, and made up a good proportion of the game. If you're complaining about armor, then just tink that the person you are fighting is in the same boat. He has access to just the same armor as you, the only thing seperating you is your gun, and your skill at fighting. There are no levels, or power points in FoM, just skill. You don't need to focus on combat, you can make money, and items for your faction. Or you can heal wounded fighters, or command a squad or any.
Being mainly a player run game a large community is important, and this will pick up when the game is advertised. And the learning curve is steep. But stick with it, and give it time, and you will discover what a rewarding game it can be
