I too love atlantis (especially now SG-1 has been turned upside down.

Not enough is known about the game to say yes or no it's in the game but i'd assume not.

Well as the desire is to have the game link to the actual series'. Then Atlantis will have to feature in the game at one point or another.

That said I don't think Atlantis will be in the initial release of the game, but as previously said it's far too early in pre-production to give any definitive answers.

My personal desire is that it doesnt link to the actual series. I really badly hope it doesnt link to it... as people have mentioned it will ALWAYS fall short and be limited.

I hope it does link to the series but doesn't limit itself completely to the series. It would be cool to run around the corridors of Atlantis. I agree though that I doubt if they do have it that it would be in the initial launch.

here is a link of an interview that has loads of juicy info. Not sure if this is the one I read but somewhere an interview says the game will be directly linked to the show so that the show influces the game and perhaps what they do ingame will influence the show.

I don't like atlantis, sg-1 was and still is better imo. Personally i hope that atlantis has a small part in the game (if any). Sg-1 has much more background to it. Atlantis was branched off of sg-1, and hopefully that'll stay true in the game.

Since the latest series of SG-1 i've prefered Atlantis.

I hate how they messed around with all the characters and removed Richard Dean Anderson who was the glue which held the show together, it seems to be losing its spark since he left...

Atlantis has a good cast i think with all of the key roles being filled in a satisfying way and Rodney McKay is just hillarious. That hillarious role is now missing in SG-1 if you ask me without O'neill.

There is only two characters that i like in atlantis, which is Ronin and Teyla. The rest of them don't keep me glued to the show. SG-1 still gets me to sit down and watch it. Yes, o'neil is gone, but there are two new ppl that are very good. I think that's a plus. At first i thought the new SG-1 was going to bomb (obviously cause o'neil is gone, and at first i thought all the original members were gone as well), but i thought they did a really good job of casting the new roles. Ben Browder (mitchell) and Claudia Black (Vala) have so far done a great job (they also starred in Farscape: the Peacekeeper Wars). No, Mitchell isn't O'neil, but they do have the some of the same qualities. And the pair up of Daniel Jackson and Vala was hilarious, had me holding my sides.

It's different yes, but i think it's in a good way.
