    I think that the Titles were a good idea.  They allow you to better tell the difference between noobs and Pro's.  I don't like how titles affect only one character however.  I think they should be account wide like faction.

    Explanation from top to bottom:

    1) Hero Title
    -Awarded with Rank. The higher your Rank, the better the Title.

    2) Tyrian Explorer
    -Awarded for unveiling 60% of the map, and get's better as you uncover more map. I'm up to 95% - Tyrian Master Cartographer.

    3) Drunkard
    -Begins counting after you spend a full minute in the blind-drunk state. You get the Title at 1000 minutes.

    4) Skill Hunter
    -Awarded for capturing at least 90 Elite skills. There are higher ranks that this, as well.

    5) Kind of a Big Deal
    -Begins counting when you have completely maxed out at least one other Title. You must get 100% in a total of 5 different Titles to be awarded this one.

    6) Treasure Hunter
    -You have to unlock 100 High-Level chests to complete the first level of this Title. In Prophecies, High Level chests start in the Southern Shiverpeaks, IIRC.

    7) Wisdom
    -To earn this Title, you must identify 100 Rare (Gold) items of any quality level. There are more levels to this Title.

    8) Protector of Tyria
    -You must complete all 25 missions in Prophecies to unlock this Title. There is only one level to this Title.

    And, a couple that aren't listed: Protector of Cantha
    -To earn this Title, you must complete all the Missions available to you at the Master level (2 swords and a spear).

    And, Canthan Explorer
    -You must personally explore at least 60% of Cantha.

    I'm willing to bet that there are other Titles that no one has found yet, so this is gonna be fun for a while. Also, grats on your Tyrian Cartographer. Let us know when you rank that up. :)
