I was feeling sorry for him towards the end. He was getting nervous while trying to being super excited and knowing what most people were probably thinking.
Same here man. I mean I'm sure those guys are super passionate about what they do. Thinking about how much time and effort they probably put into making the game... Someone writing the checks must have decided they could make more money on a mobile game, but I'm pretty sure most people at Blizzcon could care less about mobile apps.
Hahah I was laughing so hard when they announced Diablo Mobile, yet I could feel something inside of me die...
Thank fuck Warcraft 3 Remastered at least... Was hoping for a WC4, since Warcraft 3 in my opinion is the game that made Blizzard what's today, not to mention so many genres came out of it. I expect more new genres to come from the Warcraft editor.
Also Vanilla and it's not going to be that long. Warcraft 3 + Vanilla saved it for me, otherwise this would've been my last year as Blizzard user.
Though there's also the realization that the only thing that "saved" them for some was what they did 16 years ago. Legitimately almost two decade old games, because they haven't made anything better in a long time. I'm not a fan of first person shooters so I won't comment on Overwatch, though that was years ago itself.
I wonder if there's a round table at Blizzard consisting of Richard Garriot and Peter Molyneux as well. Throw Bioware in the mix because why the heck not.
Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing). German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century. Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now). I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things). In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while. If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.
Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this. If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own. Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis. Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.

I picked up on that too felt bad for the guy. But do you really think Blizzard was that naive to think people were going to be excited for this?
Given out of touch they have seemed to be in recent years... I don't know. Though the fact they made it the last thing to show for the opening isn't helping. It just left a sour taste in the mouth, that WCIII Reforged and or the WoW cinematic with Anduin and Saurfang would have mended if they were last.
The fact they put it at the end kind of shows me that they're just plain clueless on this. Though perhaps the $$$ is worth more to them than fan satisfaction at this point.

Diablo mobile... yet another example of "Forget the fans we have - they're already here. Let's go get us some new suckers fans."
My only surprise is that it isn't BR.

Oh man, the disappointment. After hearing Mike will step down from the President position, I knew that Blizz will go down and with today's announcements at BlizzCon proved not only that, but from now on, it seems Activision will have full control on Blizzard!
All Blizzard has done in the past years, is .. remastering , reskinning , etc = Milking!
I'm done. Literally washing my hands. Then drying them and making something to eat. Maybe food will make the disappointment go away. Blizzard has lost me for pretty much everything save for any RTS they might do in the future.

Well ..... I like the new WOW cinematic and I thought he Warcraft III RTS digital remaster was interesting. The Diablo Mobile game is irrelevant to me and although accomplished it is a bit ...so what and I really felt for the panel who looked like they were trying to sell ice to Eskimos.
I have just played the new Classic Wow and it is very very slow / old / slow / old .... and I played it when it first came out and loved it to death. I think you will need to be in your 20's / 30's to play it because if you work you will have to do without sleep to level up .... just like I did many many moons ago.
I wish Classic success ... but I really wouldn't want to bet on it. It was slower and had grown old, far more than I imagined jumping back in. I will be sticking with BFA which is me moving forward with the same character I have had for 15 years and I do like the story arc.
I too appreciated the free Destiny 2 download. It played well when I played the free demo.... just like Titan might have played .... unless it is a lot of Titan minus the proper Warcraft like world. But who knows it may come.
I was hoping for World of Diablo or similar which I think should be Blizzards direction .... I just think WOW and Diablo should be pushed on to the next stage of advancement .... smash it all together as Worlds of Starcraft ....encompassing an Alienesque / Prometheus / Annunaki MMORPG blended with Warcraft as a sort of High Fantasy / Sci fi / Time travelling ... uber / ultimate gaming scenario .... with Knobs on ...
So the highlights from this year's Blizzcon is the reintroduction of a game from 2002 and a game from 2004...……...
Literally what I wrote on wowhead. It's really sad that Vanilla and Warcraft Reforged are the only good content the company is going to release in 2019. I like the HotS hero and the fact that they are trying to build the HotS universe, but I didn't see any mentions on fixing the biggest issue which is the matchmaking and the ranking. They need to be changed. WoW is meh. Lately I've been spending my gold to get a ton of crap on other games which doesn't speak good of the game. I'll be using my WoW gold to get my Warcraft Reforged as well lol. Diablo mobile... they pretty much killed the game. I assume they will announce a D4 release next Blizzcon, but by then they would've lost too much of their playerbase and interest from new players, especially sine there is a whole year till next Blizzcon and in that time Path of Exile will only get better and better. Impossible to compete. Even then I'll probably try the Diablo Mobile. Would be interested to see how it runs on those budget tablets that we've been seeing reviews on MMORPG lately.
Overwatch is... it's overwatch. It's good if you like the genre. I stopped playing many seasons ago, but in my opinion it's their best game currently(not revenue-wise, but polish-wise).
YAY! Then we get to fight an immortal being starting at shard level 1 and making it to shard level 1000 right? Right! Yay!
I can't wait to fight shard level 1 diablo and then face him for the final immortal battle at shard level 1000. :O
I hereby refuse to support any Blizzard game (including WC3 remaster) monetarily until we get a proper Diablo expansion, remaster, or game announcement.

Kyleran on yours sincerely
'But there are many. You can play them entirely solo, and even offline. Also, you are wrong by default.'
Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...
'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

Pathetic.
See you later, D-series. I'm out.
