Random Mission Generator

slant64slant64 Member Posts: 5
I'm looking for a little information on the programing side of AO.

I'm interested in the Random Mission Generator that AO utilizes.  Mainly, how does it work, what is the programing peramiters involved, and how could I create one for my own uses.

If you have any ideas or information, I'd like to hear it.

Thanks!

Look at the mission settings info post and in the Game Mechanics AO forum section.

If you're interested in learning more about the mission system, talk with the folks who maintain 'clicksaver' -- the ultimate add-on for mission management. This tool is the best all-around mission management tool one could hope for... and when I play, it is always in use.

Nothing is as exciting, as frustrating, as achingly hopeful as the word 'if'. Such an amazingly large word should have more letters, don't you think?

Click saver just reads the packet info you receive while checking missions to find what you want and controls your pointer to continually request new missions. If you want to know what the sliders do in regards to the mission types you get check the links I listed in an earlier post.
