From November 20th to November 26th, anyone on PC, PlayStation 4 or XBox One can play Overwatch for free including the game's newest hero, Ashe and her sidekick B.O.B.. During the free event, players who link Blizzard and Twitch accounts, and who watch 2-hours of authorized Overwatch streaming, can earn up to three Ashe sprays that are exclusive during the event. All items will be retained on the account should a player choose to purchase Overwatch.

I'll start by saying OW is ..OK,it does what it does ,gives players a place to pvp and allows Blizz to operate a cheesy cash shop selling heroes.
If you truly believe it is the best ,you either were never around for the UT99 days and/or never played it.
IT would take me several paragraphs to explain it all,so it is better if you watch old UT99 videos of Gitzz,XS Pain,Destrukt ,you'll see serious skills and stuff you won't see in OW.
W/o getting into all the detail,i can simply say this,Destrukt was able to use the skillful play of UT99 to beat players on DSL while he was using 56k,there is no shooter alive today that could pull that off.
Like i said OW is ok,it is not a terrible game by any stretch ,it is simply not the best.BTW i still play UT99 time to time,it is still THAT good.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Oh and BTW I was around for UT99, Quake anything you can list, Duke Nukem , again anything you can list, TF2 Probably FPS team shooters you ve never heard of. I can safely say, yes, its the best in it s genre now and then.

Dear blizzard: unban people unjustly banned by sore losers. And remove report system, since it is abused. Obviously.
Banning is just a marketing ploy, my guild buys the title at least twice a year for new accounts since winning posses losers off and they spam reports. You can't refute any of it unless you think you were hacked lol.
Anyways, it's bad game compared to paladins.
Maps: paladins utilisez better design, game space, utility. No boring walks back to objective, no lame choke points, all tacticle.
Combat: no character in paladins can sit and left click. It's more skill based, action paced, and smarter team build /set up.
Only negatives are obvious graphic and budget differences. But fun, skill, wise, palladins takes cake.
It's fact by numbers, literally more skill rotation than ow hard number fact.
Your not doing. good blizzard. Sales dive, mobile market trash, etc. Start listening and stop copyung skilled games and dumbing them down.
When they copied league, with hots, they use global exp, so team shares all exp to prevent one skilled player to "carry", because they know their audience are skill less babies.
Destiny is easy warframe clone.(never died once in Destiny lol)
Wow always been the solo easy mmorpg.
And hearth pushes you up ranks, even losing exp, but no losing gold, so no decks unless you open wallet, play free long enough and your rank up, bad deck = unevenly paired. They know how to milk the knuckle draggers.
OW doesn't deserve it's price tag.
I played it daily for 3-4 months but eventually got bored with it.
Some of the mates I played it with still play it.. most have stopped though.
Still a fun game and worth trying.
I played A LOT of quakeworld/Q2/Q3 back in the day, dabbled in UT and played quite a bit of TF.
Quake Champions doesn't do it for me anymore and I find myself playing R6:Siege whenever I want my FPS fix.
The tactical, deep gameplay is incomparable to any other FPS game out there and it's what has kept me playing almost daily for years now.
Each to their own though.

Makes sense why they go all-in with Overwatch League. I mean you have those big corps paying 20 millions just to get an entry. And that was for Season 1. The expansion teams for Season 2 apparently pay even more.
Here's a food for thought. Do you think the Diablo Immortal fuck-up damages other brands like Overwatch? Investors being more wary of a company that was recently put at the same bar as EA games in the court of public opinion (although EA games has a very solid stock price)
We’ll just have to wait and see how creative they still are. I believe they used up a good chunk of goodwill.

IMO the Hero Shooter genre is kinda stagnated at the moment with Overwatch, Paladins and Team Fortress 2, i doubt there is room for any other and with the recent fall of Lawbreakers probably no publisher/developer will give it a try for a while at least.
