Well, looks like I found my next tablet when my nVidia shield finally dies. Thanks! ETA how much bloatware is on it? I refuse to consider Samsung because last time I got one it had so many unwanted programs that I couldn't put anything I wanted on it. Took it back the next day.

No bloatware at all :-) It's pretty much stock Android.

After reading a previous review, I went to their website (Aliexpress) to buy it, what an ordeal. They would not accept 3 different credit cards that I use all the time online. (2 Visa, 1 MC) Chatting with their support didn't help. They finally asked me to submit a lengthy essay about my finances including picture ID. I declined and bought my tablet from Samsung. All in all, a very unpleasant online shopping experience.

Just a note: Chuwi is an Asus subsidiary ;)

It is more costly than Hi9 air, which has an 8000 battery (vs 7000) though just a bit less powered.
What reasons would you consider to prefer "plus" to "air"?
