Tencent has announced that the EU server for Ring of Elysium has launched alongside a Thanksgiving event for both EU and NA players. This is the first time EU players have been able to get into the free-to-play battle royale game after its successful launch in North America earlier this year.

    With over 400 hours in PUBG, I have to say I’m very impressed with ROE so far. I’d like to see some map options. I must admit that I miss leaning, too, but I can live with it. The game is very smooth in regard to the engine and mechanics. The pacing of the game is pretty fast and the rounds move more quickly. GL to ROE.

    Just another BR game, if you really want to play it change your region to US, then back again once installed. That way you will be one up on everyone else when the E server launches. There may be issues with what region the game thinks you are in, so I would check that others have done this before you try.

    EU servers are up on the 23/11 - early downloads from 21/11 (today at some point) so we have a few more days till they go live - so says their twitter at least.

    I am downloading it now :D - but yeah seems like the servers will be on later.

    ive put about 100 hours in and the snowboarding/hanggliding makes this such a unique and fun experience i find myself just climbing/driving up mountains just to snowboard 90km/h down them :)

    "Starting from the server maintenance completion on November 22nd (approximately 10:00 GMT, UTC+0), all EEA Steam users will be able to download and play Ring of Elysium! All user data are account-wide and will not be affected by the EU server launch, including character created, cosmetic items, E-Points & Adventurer Pass purchases, game statistics, etc. Therefore, EEA players can enjoy Ring of Elysium freely with the only downside of not having an actual EU server option to play on. For example, if a EEA player download and plays Ring of Elysium after the unlock, and play a couple of games on NA servers, his character levels, Adventurer Pass tiers, and various rewards unlocked will completely remain after the EU server launch."
