I was just going to asked if anyone was playing the open beta... and what they thought of the game so far.

The impression of this beta so far (10 hours)... At first it was really weird, but after fiddling with settings it got a little better (click to attack, wasd movement + right click to move camera and some other setting changes). It is tedious to operate, some of it is design choice that you need to accept and others can really use some serious QoL improvement/replacement).. once I accepted the slow pace, I started to enjoy it a little more. I started out blank as a mage and spent all my spell components before I realized there was such a thing, so that was a bad start... I am mostly doing crafting now until I find out how to go adventuring.
But yeah impression is that this game is in a pretty early state, stuff seem to work mostly but it is all very simple. If people are ready to pay for the game at this state then fine, but there is a chance of backlash considering they call it a release and not a beta.
That said its oldschool style is able to trigger me a little .. there is something about this game, it is just a faint sensation at the moment - It needs work, lots of work but def has potential. (maybe more to come at the end of the weekend)
One note though if you are starting this beta... don't do mage, the spell ingredients makes it impossible to sustain offensive spellcasting (20 for 1 silver).
