What's your fav way to communicate?

BoozbazBoozbaz Member Posts: 1,918

This day and age there's many ways to communicate, plenty of which are electronic or involve text. Text is a tool, just like spoken words are for delivering a message. If used properly, either can be very effective. I postulate that there are more types of communication, even touch or dance for example, that could be used to communicate with enough practice.

Forums are my favorite and probobally what I'm best at. I like how you can go back and edit/delete even after sending something, and you can easily go back at any time to observe how effective your post was.

What's methods of exchange are you good at? Can you think of any other way of commuication that could possibly replace spoken word? (Think about it, I'm not speaking to you right now)

    Paranormal.

    Meaning; telepathy.

I communicated with my mind by imposing it on my victim until it succumbs, then I have my way with it.

  • The written word. Hand written, through letters. Letter writting really is a lost art form, and I have a few penpals who enjoy using letters in a very Victorian and formal style, so every few months I send and receieve a few letters that are absolutely delightful.

Despite their convenience, I detest email and telephones. I think they make things far less personal and less formal, and allow communication to degenerate. I find cell phones particularly disgraceful, not because of what they are but because of the lack of etiquette people display with them. I'm a stickler for good manners.

Spoken word although its wierd; I enjoy having conversations with people in person like in a car (great place), but when i'm on teamspeak or something then I get all quiet. I do eventually get comfortable enough to just say whatever. Like I spent about a year on Xbox Live and I remember starting out I barely said a word a day. Eventually I was the one giving orders (I love the military games). I guess I can enjoy all different kinds of communication but I generally start out shy and then in time get comfortable.
