So much to do in this game and they just keep adding more. Best MMO on the market for those that are tired of Fed Ex Quest Themeparks and WoW Clones. Archer here I come!

I agree it's the best Solo friendly MMO out there.
It needs more engaging Group content unfortunately, but, as Bethesda would say, "they are not going to do anything about it".

Much more than other mmos where the only time you do group is when your que for the instanced dungeon. Other than that you are just solo Fed Ex questing from A -Z.

While I have enjoyed playing this game a lot I have to admit that it is largely a solo experience but that was largely because I was only interested in my workers, farming and trading. Perhaps PvP is not a single player experience, since I do not PvP I have no way of knowing.

Game is really confusing and weird i tried it a couple of times...

Not to mention that litterly everyone is screaming this game is p2w apparently.
The only positive thing are the graphics.

Indeed the game is great, however it has one of the worst time sink crafting systems I have ever experienced which is why I quit the game.

It has a lot of positive things going for it.

Combat is good. Not as good as Blade & Soul or TERA, but definitely up there.

Huge variety of things to do when you log in. You can quest, grind like an old school MMO, farm, harvest, tame/train/breed mounts, craft, manage your slave worker empire, do world bosses and scrolls, etc.

Huge world to explore with lots of unique areas and monster types.

Endless character growth in the form of skill points, constantly allowing your character to grow in ability and versatility without necessarily growing more powerful.

    The graphics obviously.

It's a good game, that's let down by the industry's worst equipment enhancing system.

I'm always amused at seeing games adding the opposite gender of pretty much an existing class as "content."

Combat is "ok". PvP is god awful. The net code can't hold the hit detection of it's own game.

"Huge variety of things" to waste your money or time in. If you want to keep up with top gear your choice drops to 1 or 2.

"Huge wolrd to explore"... "explore"? You mean walk? Because there is nothing to explore since there is nothing to discover.

Growing versatility? Are we talking about the same game here?
Combat isn't perfect, but most people consider it to be good. You are in the minority.

There are always going to be "best" ways to make money, but as a new or even average player those are far out of your reach. There are a lot of things to do for fun that are also profitable. I know it's a crazy idea to rate fun over efficiency, but we live in crazy times.

Yes, the world is quite big and even after they labeled a lot of things on the map, there's still tons of places to go and interesting things to see.

Ever since they added in the final rank of pre-awakening skills, they've been worth using. That means that you need somewhere close to 2,500 skill points to have all of your awakening and pre-awakening skills. The more absolute skills you unlock the more versatile you become and the more options you have in combat. It takes a long time to get there, so you will always have something to look forward to improving your character.

Nice cinematic. I am so tempted to try the game on the graphics alone

The reasons I don't play Black Desert have to do with its progression and economy. Infinite vertical progression is a terrible system in a multiplayer game (especially a PvP one) and a job system that encourages/forces you to leave your computer on overnight to afk farm is a joke.

I genuinely enjoyed the game as I enjoyed the trading and farming aspects. I suppose one cannot like this game unless you are working for KakaoImage result for eye roll emoteImage result for eye roll emote

I enjoyed BDO. I'd probably still be playing it if the group I played with at the time hadn't imploded.

I particularly appreciated the commitment to having a very wide range of non-combat game options and the continuous open world environment, with storms that travel across the world and gradual shifts with sensible itemization changes from one environment type to the next. There's a ton of stuff to do and the way that it is layered over the world makes a lot of geographical sense. It feels like a world, which is not easy to pull off.

The lack of instanced dungeons and raids did not bother me, but then again those have never seemed to me like they should be a core aspect of any game that claims to be massively multiplayer.

Since the criticisms being lobbed at the game when I was playing it were almost laughably unfair and usually tossed in the word "Korean" like it was an insult, I tend to view the criticisms being lobbed at it now with a grain of salt. Haters gonna hate, I guess.

Glad to hear that they're still adding new content. Maybe I'll check it out again.
